Garibaldi's Tonichi and Onavas concessions consist of an area covering approximately 47,000 hectares located in Sonora State with similar characteristics as a number of well known deposits located nearby. Garibaldi's Tonichi-Onavas concessions completely surround Virgin Metal's Cuatro Hermanos copper-moly deposit, border Constellation Copper's San Javier copper deposit to the north and Zaruma Resources's Luz del Cobre copper-gold deposit to the northeast.

Garibaldi has a dominant land position in this area of Sonora State which covers approximately 450 square kilometres of visually impressive and intense alteration. This prolific area is associated with dozens of old mines and its topography and dessert like features are perfectly suited to employ the company's rapid assessment protocol (RAP) strategy utilizing the most advanced remote sensing technology commercially available.

Garibaldi's hyperspectral survey has generated multiple target anomalies for the company's exploration personnel to follow up. These targets were generated by comparing the unique hyperspectral signature of known deposits in the area to those evident on ground controlled by Garibaldi.
