Garibaldi's Badesi concession application originally covered 50,000 hectares of this remote area located in Sonora State approximately 75 kilometres northwest of Alamos Gold's Mulatos project. Subsequent to the successful completion of Garibaldi's fixed wing hyperspectral survey, the company has made application to reduce the size of the concession down to 18,000 hectares strategically covering multiple hyperspectral target anomalies that emerged from the company's survey and proprietary analysis.

Similar to the Rodadero Property geological maps published by the Mexican Department of Mines show numerous known gold and silver occurrences, placer gold occurrences and more importantly show large areas of alteration similar to the alteration zones identified in the Mulatos area. Detailed geological work at Mulatos has demonstrated that the large alteration zones are associated with the epithermal systems that formed these gold deposits.
